Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

Join a leading organization specializing in providing temporary environments for businesses and organizations across North America. As a general production worker, you will be part of a team that ensures our mobile office trailers, portable classrooms, modular complexes, and storage containers are ready to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

+ Clean, repair, and ensure all storage units and offices are in working condition and ready to be rented.

+ Conduct repairs on customer site units as required.

+ Sweep and hose out units, check A/C if applicable, and replace tile or epoxy flooring.

+ Repair drywall holes, clean windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.

+ Replace light bulbs, locks, blinds, door handles, etc.

+ Perform painting, minor welding, and minor electrical repairs.

+ Document work completed and verify units either need further repairs (red tagged) or are ready to rent (green tagged).

+ Ensure supplies are replenished and the yard is organized and free of debris and potential hazards.

+ Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from various trucks and trailers.

+ Fulfill other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance to fulfill the essential functions of the job.

Essential Skills

+ General labor skills including cleaning, sweeping, and painting.

+ Experience in carpentry and mechanical aptitude using basic hand tools.

+ Ability to conduct minor welding and electrical repairs.

+ Proficiency in the use of tools related to construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in carpentry is preferred.

+ Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.

+ Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.

+ Job tenure is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a shop setting that includes both covered and non-covered working areas. Although the majority of work is conducted inside the shop, the environment is not temperature controlled. Safety and organization are prioritized to ensure a productive workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
