Job Title: High Reach Forklift Operator

1st shift Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm +OT

$19.93/hr

Job Description

Seeking skilled forklift operators to supply materials to assemblers for production and transport completed parts to shipping for delivery. The role also involves working in the shipping and receiving area to load trucks with completed parts.

Responsibilities

+ Operate high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts to supply materials for production.

+ Transport completed parts to the shipping area for delivery.

+ Load trucks in the shipping and receiving area with completed parts.

+ Maintain safety standards in tight quarters with multiple forklifts and personnel.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to pass a forklift test demonstrating safe and effective operation.

+ Experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working in a warehouse environment.

+ Strong attention to safety protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with tight quarters. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. The position is within a unionized environment, requiring union dues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.93 - $27.80/hr.
