    Job Title: 1st Shift Packaging** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as a 1st Shift Packaging employee where you will be involved in working on a food packaging production line. Your main tasks will include weighing out food for each serving and packaging it into dishes. The job involves filling each dish with the correct food of the day, including various types of meats, pastas, rice, and different vegetables. This role requires standing for the entire shift and performing repetitive tasks consistently.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on a food packaging production line.

    + Weigh out food for each serving and package into dishes.

    + Fill each dish with the correct food of the day including meats, pastas, rice, and vegetables.

    + Stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.

    + Lift up to 55 lbs during portions of the shift, including shoveling vegetables or noodles into a hopper.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging, visual inspection, and general labor.

    + Ability to stand all day and work overtime hours as needed.

    + Comfort working in a 53-34 degree environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Physical capability to lift up to 55 lbs.

    + Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing a hair net, smock/lab coat, and beard cover if applicable.

    + Compliance with no jewelry or visible piercings on the production floor.

    Work Environment

    You will be working in a food production environment with temperatures maintained at 52-53 degrees on the production floor and 34 degrees in the weigh pack/cold room. Proper attire including a hair net and smock/lab coat is required, and if applicable, a beard cover must be worn. Jewelry, visible piercings, and fake nails are not allowed. Standing is required for the entire shift.
