Job Title: Boiler Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Boiler Operator, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers and related equipment, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Log readings accurately in a log book.

+ Inspect worksites for potential problems and ensure safety compliance.

+ Provide excellent customer service while visiting various sites on campus.

+ Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and related equipment.

+ Monitor temperature controls and gauge readings to ensure optimal performance.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in boiler operation and documentation.

+ Proficiency in customer service.

+ Possession of a high-pressure black seal boiler license.

+ 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Blue Seal certification is advantageous.

+ Strong documentation writing skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in a multi-city university that operates continuously. As part of the facility department, you'll be considered essential personnel, ensuring the university remains open and functional at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PISCATAWAY, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
