Job Title: Electrical Assembly Apprentice - 2nd Shift** **Job Description
Embark on a rewarding career path with our Electrical Assembly Apprentice Training Academy. As an apprentice, you will assist in mechanical and electrical builds of customer products while gaining hands-on experience and in-depth training in reading and understanding point-to-point wiring schematics and diagrams (480v, 120v, 24v). You will also receive specialized training in crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing UL panels and sub-assemblies.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and switchgear systems, focusing on 3-phase power distribution.
+ Pull, crimp, install, and test wiring utilizing point-to-point techniques.
+ Operate tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, crimpers, and torque wrenches.
+ Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
+ Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
+ Work under direct, close supervision, with frequent monitoring of output.
+ Maintain documentation and update panel layouts as necessary.
+ Follow manufacturing protocols and lean production principles.
+ Adhere to detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics.
+ Ensure the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
+ Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
+ Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
+ Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillment.
+ Perform real-time testing for point-to-point testing to ensure accurate wiring and no issues with wires/housing.
Essential Skills
+ Basic electrical wiring or assembly experience preferred.
+ Strong initiative to learn a trade through in-depth training academy.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations.
+ Ability and willingness to learn to interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Familiarity with electrical schematic reading and interpretation.
+ Understanding of mechanical assembly and electronic assembly processes.
+ Knowledge of control panel wiring, soldering, and crimping techniques.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with cell stations and large working areas. Teams consist of 5-7 technicians working together to assemble units per specification. All necessary tools and materials are provided; no outside tools are required. Training will be on-site in a classroom setting, focusing on safety, electrical wiring, and standard protocols. The training academy runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm for the first 1-2 weeks, transitioning to a 2nd shift from 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday. Candidates must be available to work on Saturdays if scheduled, but will never work more than 58 hours per week. Overtime is possible but limited.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
