Job Title: Filling Technician

Job Description

+ Manually wash or use machines to clean and remove impurities from items such as glass products and plastics.

+ Remove glassware and media from autoclaves, cool them, and tighten lids.

+ Organize and rotate glassware and lab supplies.

+ Prepare equipment for autoclaving.

+ Maintain clear and precise documentation of processes.

+ Assist in training new employees.

+ Clean and sterilize laboratory instruments and equipment.

+ Perform routine cleaning of the processing area.

+ Engage in cross-training across multiple functional areas.

+ Requisition materials for the department as needed.

+ Adapt to flexible hours as required by business needs.

+ Work on weekends and/or holidays as required by business needs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with cleaning and sterile processing.

+ Knowledge of washing and sterilization procedures.

+ Understanding of production and documentation processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School diploma or GED equivalency required.

+ Post-secondary education preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to heat near autoclaves and moisture while disinfecting glassware. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand and bend throughout the shift, and have good eyesight and hand-eye coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OMAHA, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
