Job Title: Welder** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder for the 2nd shift, operating from 4:20 PM to 2:50 AM, Monday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in MIG welding, the ability to work from work orders and blueprints, and basic computer operating skills.
Responsibilities
+ Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks.
+ Set up and adjust welding machines, including voltage and wire feed settings.
+ Work from work orders and drawings, following Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Utilize basic computer skills to clock in and out of jobs and accurately log hours.
+ Ensure all necessary documentation such as SOPs and safety equipment is in order.
+ Handle materials efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
+ Ability to work from work orders and blueprints.
+ Basic computer operating skills.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ At least 2 years of solid welding experience and ability to pass a weld test.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Additional schooling in metal fabrication is a plus.
+ Proficiency with tape measure and basic math.
+ Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
+ Ability to keep up with documentation and input information into computers.

Work Environment
The manufacturing environment can be hot during summer and cold during winter months. Employees can feel vibrations in the facility when large presses are running. The work culture is adaptable and collaborative, with team sizes ranging from 3 to 8 people. Personal protective equipment such as steel toe boots, long work pants, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required. The shift offers options for 4x10 hour days or 5-hour days, with multiple openings available on the 2nd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
