Job Title: Production Assembler** **Job Description

Join a leading global full-service automotive supplier specializing in complex metal, plastic, and hybrid structures. This facility supplies parts to well-known automotive brands, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.

+ Perform die change and set-up duties.

+ Load and unload parts in and out of welders, dies, trunions, and assembly fixtures.

+ Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and rivets parts and sub-assemblies.

+ Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.

+ Ensure quality and quantities of parts produced meet required quality specifications and production rates.

+ Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.

+ Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job, including start-up checklists, pre-shift inspection sheets, labor tickets, scrap records, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.

+ Ability to work at a very fast pace.

+ Capability to perform medium lifting up to 50 lbs and stand/move all day.

+ Must have steel-toed shoes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience preferred but not required.

+ Experience with hand and power tools preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing production facility, operating on a 2nd shift from 1:45 pm to 10:15 pm, Monday through Sunday, with the current schedule requiring work all seven days of the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.45 - $15.45/hr.
