    Job Title: Utility Operator** **Job Description

     

    As a Utility Operator, you will accurately read and interpret measurements using a measuretap, learn and apply surface-level construction skills such as sanding and painting, and operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. You will follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment, assist in the assembly and production of panels, perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards, and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately read and interpret measurements using a measuretap.

    + Learn and apply surface-level construction skills including sanding and painting.

    + Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process.

    + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    + Assist in the assembly and production of panels.

    + Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

    + Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and interpret measurements using a measuretap.

    + Willingness to learn and develop construction and manufacturing skills.

    + Basic understanding of sanding, painting, and machine operation.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus but not required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Warwick, RI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
