    Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Multiaxis CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will operate, set up, and maintain advanced CNC machines to produce precision components that meet exacting specifications. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate multiaxis CNC machines to produce complex parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

    + Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    + Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets to optimize production efficiency.

    + Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

    + Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.

    + Document production activities including setup sheets, inspection reports, and quality records.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably with 5+ axis machines.

    + Proficiency in reading technical drawings and applying GD&T principles.

    + Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Technical certification or associate degree preferred.

    + Experience with Mazak and Mazatrol programming.

    + Familiarity with mill turn and multiaxis machining.

    This is a Contract position based out of Huntsville, AL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
