    Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Room ServiceSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Food Service Worker - Runner delivers meals to patients who have placed their order through the Room Service program. The Runner works as a team with other Dietetics & Nutrition staff to ensure that the patient's Room Service experience is a positive one. The Runner is responsible for verifying that the meal is complete, in accordance with the diet order and delivered to the correct patient. The Runner must follow personal protective equipment precautions before entering a patient room. Duties also include cleaning and assisting the Cook as needed. This position involves a considerable amount of walking.

     

    High School diploma preferred

    Education:

    GED/High School diploma preferred

    Experience

    0-1 years experience preferred

    Department Specific Job Details:

    Shift varies 6:30a - 3:00p, 10:45a - 7:15p

     

    Every other weekend and major holiday
