Job Duties:

+ Processing of customer requests submitted via the portal, SharePoint request tool, and ad-hoc requests received via the IT support email address.

+ Deliver in person desk-side IT assistance as needed to customers within the Forrestal facility and virtual assistance to all customers (basic workstation set-up, monitor, and peripheral installation)

+ Serve as request facilitator and liaison for outside sites and associated service providers ensuring that outside customers receive the services needed to accomplish mission.

+ Tracks and maintains IT property inventory and associated IT portfolio to include onsite management/tracking of IT equipment located within storage rooms. Working with DOE property management and federal IT team members for disposal of access IT property as needed.

+ Maintains email distribution lists at a minimum monthly updates/validation for accuracy.

+ Maintains SharePoint site ensuring that appropriate content is posted on behalf of the division for our customers (not critical but preferred)

+ Assists with the quarterly IT lunch and learn providing guidance on how to acquire IT assistance. Works closely with the Division director on content.

+ We need someone with excellent customer service skills because this function will require daily interaction with end users.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree; or Associates degree plus additional two years' experience

+ 3+ years of relevant work experience

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
