    THE POSITION

    Are you passionate about policy analysis, data interpretation, and making a meaningful impact on current Office of Long-Term Living public programs while traveling across the Commonwealth? The Department of Human Services is currently seeking a Program Analyst 3 to join the Bureau of Policy Development and Communications Management. In this key role, you will manage communications and training initiatives and play an integral part in developing policies related to the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, as you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering training to various individuals and organizations. You will need to have a deep understanding of state and local regulations in the health care industry, as well as the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to manage multiple training contracts and provide high-quality training to government agencies and private organizations. Overall, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring that personal care homes and assisted living facilities are providing quality care and complying with all necessary regulations.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    + Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

    + Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

    + Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    + One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ;or

    + Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree;or

    + An equivalent combination of experience and training.
