GENERAL PURPOSE: Assist a team of press operators to ensure quick and efficient make-readies for multicolor flexographic printing press. Assist with the setup, repair, and maintenance of the press.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

\u2022 Reviews job ticket and selects the proper type and quantity of material.

\u2022 Assists in material change-overs. Ensures correct material is present and organized for production runs.

\u2022 Cleans and maintains press equipment along with general common areas.

\u2022 Moves loads of printed and unprinted stock when necessary.

\u2022 Assists the press operator with preventative maintenance of the press.

\u2022 Follows established standard operating procedures.

\u2022 Completes required documentation.

\u2022 Follows established standard operating procedures.

\u2022 Completes required documentation.

\u2022 Assembles print cylinders and gears.

\u2022 Performs and reviews line clearance.

\u2022 Removes waste from the press area.

\u2022 Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

\u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

\u2022 Must have basic personal computer skills (email, word processing, etc.)

\u2022 Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

\u2022 Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.

\u2022 Must be able to pass basic reading test.

\u2022 Must be able to read and comprehend measurements on a ruler.

\u2022 Must have the ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

\u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance.

\u2022 Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

\u2022 Must pass color vision test

\u2022 Must pass color hue test.

\u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
