Overview
Position is responsible for managing facility maintenance section operations.
Position Responsibilities
Directs daily operations of district Parks maintenance facilities.
Ensures section-operated productions productivity through meeting established performance measures.
Plans daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual operations schedules.
Assists in the development of and implementation of management reports.
Assists with preparation of RFP/RFQ's for Facility Maintenance operations.
Assists with securing qualified vendors to conduct repairs not assigned to operating staff and monitors their work.
Coordinates preventive maintenance program.
Ensures that all operation employees are trained for their positions.
Implements section schedule through the work order format.
Implements changes in scheduling and management formats based upon date received from the work management and asset management systems.
Coordinates department energy management program.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology or a related field or equivalent experience, and a minimum of five (5) years prior related experience in supervisory role with progressive responsibilities or equivalent experience (10 Years). Knowledge of facility maintenance operations is a must. Ability to analyze data, coordinate multiple projects, and meet deadlines is a must. Ability to communicate in both forms-oral and written. Ability to become certified in aquatic facility
Independent Judgment
Establish policies and procedures for the city in order to regulate and mange forestry operations. Independent judgment is regularly utilized when there are no available policies and procedures. Errors in judgment may cause inconsistencies and inconveniences as well as regulatory, safety, and budgetary problems.
