As the School Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in promoting student health and wellness, providing direct care, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure every child thrives. Position Details:

+ Location: Lafayette, IN

+ School Type: K–8 Charter School

+ Student Population: ~200 students

+ Pay Rate: $26/hour

+ Employment Type: Full-Time

+ Start Date: Immediate openings available

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deliver student care using the nursing process in accordance with physician orders and school policies

+ Provide health assessments, first aid, and emergency care

+ Monitor and manage chronic conditions and medication administration

+ Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers

+ Maintain accurate health records and documentation

+ Support a safe and healthy school environment

Qualifications:

+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program

+ Licensed as an LPN in Indiana

+ Current CPR certification

+ PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)

+ At least 1 year of professional experience (preferred)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
