    Special Education Teacher - Santa Clarita, CA

     

    Pay Rate: $40–$50/hr

     

    Hours: 32 per week

     

    Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–2:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–12:30 PM

     

    Contract Duration: Remainder of the school year

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to students in grades K–12. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement individualized programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation with general education staff.

    Responsibilities:

    Deliver engaging and effective instruction tailored to students’ unique needs.

     

    Participate in IEP development and implementation.

     

    Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.

     

    Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

     

    Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.

     

    Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred).

     

    Special Education certification (LBS1 endorsement preferred).

     

    Current CPR certification (if applicable).

     

    Ability to meet all health and safety requirements (TB test, health certificate, etc.).

     

    Must be at least 18 years of age.
