Part-Time Physical Therapist – Schools | District-Wide Support | $58/hr

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in students' lives? We’re seeking a dedicated school-based Physical Therapist to join our team and support students across various grade levels throughout the district.

Schedule: 3 days a week, 7 hours a day

Compensation: $58/hour

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students thrive by promoting functional mobility and independence , supporting access to the school environment , and collaborating with educators and families to meet each student’s needs . You’ll work with various grade levels from elementary through high school, with caseloads that typically decrease as students get older since services often shift toward consult-based support. What you'll do:

+ Conducting evaluations and developing individualized plans of care

+ Delivering and documenting therapy services in alignment with physician’s orders (when applicable)

+ Collaborating with educators and families to support student success

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice

+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

+ Preferred: 1+ year of professional experience

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
