Summary You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the AVAILABILITY INTEGRATION DIVISION, MODERNIZATION AND INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will provide technical expertise for the installation, system integration, test/evaluation, certification and trials, software delivery, preventative and corrective maintenance. You will provide expert-level technical services related to the Integration, Test and Evaluation, and Life-cycle Engineering and Logistics support of In-Service Amphibious Assault Ships, their Combat Systems, Weapon Systems, and related equipment. You will provide technical services to ensure that Combat Systems and their elements are successfully integrated on Amphibs during availability and modernization events, You will perform technical reviews on availability planning materials, availability execution processes, and supporting technical documentation. You will utilize a variety of inputs from numerous suppliers to ensure that all required services are in place to support planned installations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band or grade level (GS-11/12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the technical planning, implementation, system integration and support of Combat Systems and Weapon Systems to ensure the efficient and effective execution of ship warfare readiness operational objectives.
