    Automated Side Load Garbage Truck Driver – Residential Routes

    • **Pay:** $23–$24/hr + Overtime Opportunities

    • **Schedule:** Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays | 50–55 Hours/Week

     

    Waste Connections is seeking **experienced, safety-focused CDL Drivers** to join our team in **Altamonte Springs, FL** , serving residential neighborhoods across the greater Orlando area.     What You’ll Do

    + Safely operate an **Automated Side Load Garbage Truck** on assigned residential routes

    + Use automated controls to lift and empty residential waste containers

    + Follow route sheets and/or dispatcher instructions for timely service

    + Transport and dump waste at designated disposal sites

    + Perform **daily pre- and post-trip inspections** (fluids, tires, safety equipment)

    + Maintain a clean, safe vehicle at all times

    + Deliver **excellent customer service** to residential customers

    What We’re Looking For

    + **Valid Class A or B CDL License**

    + **Clean driving record**

    + **1+ year of local route driving experience** (waste industry preferred)

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions

    + Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude
