• Hybrid Release Train Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and coordinate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) across 5–6 teams within a dynamic utilities environment. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of overall experience and a proven track record in driving large-scale Agile initiatives using SAFe principles. This role requires a mindset focused on being agile rather than just doing agile, with flexibility to adapt frameworks rather than rigidly following processes. Strong expertise in execution methodologies using tools such as Jira or Rally is essential. The RTE will facilitate program-level ceremonies, manage dependencies, and ensure value delivery to customers and stakeholders. A solid understanding of architecture and design principles, along with experience in cloud and DevOps technologies such as Azure, Terraform, and Harness, is highly desirable. The RTE would also need to have familiarity with Github for code configuration and ansible for automation. The team uses Jfrog to document as well. The candidate must excel in stakeholder communication, including the ability to influence and push back when necessary, and demonstrate experience in delivering successful Agile projects at scale.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -10-15 Years of experience as an RTE

     

    -Experience overseeing 5-6 agile teams

     

    -Experience with Jira
