    Pay Rate: $25.00–$27.00 per hour

    This is a hands-on, active role ideal for an HVAC-skilled professional who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in keeping building systems running smoothly. We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of maintenance experience — and experience in an Assisted Living or Healthcare environment is a major plus.

     

    If you have strong skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems, we want to meet you.

    Key Responsibilities (HVAC-Focused):

    + Perform regular HVAC system maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal heating and cooling performance for residents and staff

    + Conduct routine and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, heat and A/C, carpentry, and building/grounds systems for all Van Dyk properties

    + Complete apartment turnover repairs and upgrades in a timely manner

    + Respond to emergency calls and maintenance issues across the main building, corporate office, and rental properties

    + Maintain a flexible schedule, including after-hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed

    + Provide outstanding customer service to residents, tenants, families, guests, and staff

    + Diagnose issues quickly, determine correct repairs, and execute them safely and efficiently

    + Ensure adherence to building codes, HVAC safety standards, and regulatory requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience, ideally with HVAC specialization

    + Strong competency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems

    + A roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure

    + Professional, courteous, and resident-focused demeanor
