JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Manager, SAP will support the Senior Director, Finance - SAP, serving as a point of contact for the SAP S4 Project, ensuring inclusive design decisions and business unit change management are a success. In this role, Partnering with the Senior Director, you will align with dedicated business unit leaders on functional and data requirements, ensuring business critical inputs are incorporated into the system design. You will work closely with the SAP S4 Solution Team, and with colleagues across the global Finance and Technology organizations, while having an active role in the finance digital transformation from design to deployment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Interface with UDX Finance department, S/4 Core Team, Business Units, System Integrator (SI) and O&T to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, tables, objects, master data elements, programs, transactions etc. related to the current ERP Central Component solution, to:

+ Translate UDX Finance needs to fit to standard business process design of SAP S/4 solutions within related NBCU Finance function.

+ Translate UDX Finance reporting needs to master data design of SAP S/4 solutions within related NBCU Finance function.

+ Identify what master and transactional data is required to support future business processes and operational/analytical reporting and assist in carrying out a full assessment of the impact of the move to S4.

+ Attend workshops and sessions around business process analysis, process re-engineering, global templates, and value chain analysis. Implement learnings to insure the UDX requirements are addressed

+ Change agent to SAP S/4 transformation.

+ Challenge the status quo to ensure optimal balance of NBCU Enterprise and local business requirements and maintain good business relations.

+ Provide strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise (SME) for next generation ERP Finance Solutions for master data, implementation, and process design for UDX.

+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

+ Associate degree (AA) is required.

+ Bachelor’s degree is required.

EXPERIENCE:

+ 5+ years’ experience with controllership/IT.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

+ Previous NBCU experience or professional work experience in an SAP ecosystem preferred, ideally in a Global context

+ Demonstrated understanding of SAP business processes (e.g., AP, RTR, OTC)

+ Understanding of agile project mgmt. and a record of accomplishment of on time delivery

+ Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to keep momentum and drive change

+ Experience in organizational change management

+ Solution driven and results oriented

+ Ability to represent NBCU with third party implementors with a collaborative mindset

+ Demonstrated problem-solving ability within functional and technical areas
