    Job Summary

    + The Spray Applicator measures, mixes, and applies various pesticides and fertilizers to assigned areas.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Operate spray equipment

    + Measure mixing agents to create necessary sprays for application

    + Apply various pesticides and fertilizers to maintain areas

    Education and Experience:

    + Experience with chemical or spray applications

    + Must work under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomic Technician

    + Maintain a valid Driver’s License

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Operate efficiently and safely at all times

    + Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

    + Ability to perform other cultural applications on a golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications

    Physical Demands/Requirements:

    + Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

    + Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night

    + Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping

    Work Environment:

    + Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic

    + Work near or about natural bodies of water

    + Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit

    + Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
