Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Associate Partner with a specialty in project management to join our team and help drive successful SAP implementations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to lead client engagements, manage complex SAP projects, and contribute to the growth of our SAP practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and design tailored SAP project management solutions, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
* Pre-sales Support: Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and RFP responses, showcasing your deep understanding of SAP project management best practices and tools.
* Project Execution: Lead SAP project teams, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that SAP implementations are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and alignment.
* Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize SAP project management processes, tools, and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Thought Leadership: Share your expertise through blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and speaking engagements, positioning our firm as a trusted advisor in SAP project management.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the SAP project management space, contributing to the growth of our practice and the firm's revenue.
* Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest SAP project management trends, tools, and best practices, and actively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills.
* Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with junior team members, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional development.
Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.
This position can be performed anywhere in the United States
Required technical and professional expertise
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an SAP consultant or partner, with a specialty in project management.
* Deep understanding of SAP project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
* Strong SAP project experience, including implementation, upgrade, and integration projects.
* Demonstrated expertise in project lifecycle management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
* Relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar, are preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
