As a **Security Guard - Driving Patrol** in **Newport Beach, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is a primarily driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate Allied Universal protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the office buildings and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.

+ Maintain a visible presence within the commercial real estate location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to tenants and visitors.

+ Document and report any irregularities, property damage, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement if required during incidents or emergencies.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or exit from the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
