    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $55,687-57,887. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. Health insurance which includes vision & prescription coverage, NYS Retirement membership, tax deferred annuities, employee assistance program, and generous sick and personal day policies. This is a 10-month position. Opportunities available for clinical supervision if eligible.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

    + Provide individual and group counseling to students with disabilities

    + Assist CSE’s in conducting initial evaluations

    + Assess, document, and report student progress on counseling goals

    + Collaborate with a team of educators serving students

    + Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, school personnel, CSE’s, and community agencies

    Job Qualifications

    Master’s degree in Social Work (Licensure preferred) and New York State Certification as a School Social Worker Required. Demonstrated successful student counseling experience.
