As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the educational location, responding to situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.

+ Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.

+ Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

+ Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton experience is preferred.

+ Baton Certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
