    Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Metal – Apprentice 1. The Metal Apprentice 1 will perform cleaning and maintenance for various metals as prescribed by routine and custom metal maintenance programs. Allied Universal Janitorial Services is a Union signatory, in good standing, of the Painters District Council No. 14 IUPAT, AFL-CIO. On the job training is provided.

    Metal Division with Allied Universal Janitorial Services

     

    Wage is $20.89 / hour, Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 1:00am

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Clean, polish, and highlight of all types of metals

    + Perform architectural bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum refinishing

    + Clean and coat exterior metal curtain wall building facade

    + Apply of high-performance paints and coatings

    + Perform custom tailored metal maintenance programs

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Valid driver’s license, if driving a company or customer supplied vehicle

    + No experience required

    + No prior knowledge or skills are required

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Stone restoration knowledge

    + Work or training experience involving refinishing of architectural metals (revolving doors), window frames, elevators, and escalators, etc.

    Benefits:

    + Health and Welfare Benefits for Full Time Employees from District Council No 14 after 90 days of employment

    + Vacation time offered 1 year, 40 hours, 2 years, 80 hours, 10 years, 120 hours and 25 years, 160. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law
