As a **Security Officer - Mall Entry Patrol** in **City Of Industry, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions and general inquiries within the location.

+ Work closely with Allied Universal management and site staff to address security-related needs and support site operations.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
