As a **Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol Unarmed** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while responding to various situations. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while maintaining a visible presence.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Six months or more of security-related experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
