    Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic (Plumbing and Heating). This position involves a variety of building maintenance and repair though is generally devoted in the specialized fields of plumbing and heating. Interested applicants must have a thorough knowledge of the practices, processes, materials and tools of the plumbing and heating trade.

    Typical Work may include but is not limited to the following:

    + Maintains and repairs central heating systems;

    + Makes inspections of property to ascertain repair needs;

    + Estimates materials required for repairs;

    + Performs miscellaneous repairs to and installs a variety of equipment related to plumbing and heating systems;

    + Does related work as required.

     

    Hours: 2:00pm-9:30pm

    Job Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    + One year of experience at the journeyman level in the plumbing and heating

    + Ability to understand oral and written directions and mechanical aptitude

    + Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
