Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Dementia Care Location: Sandy Springs, GA 30342 Schedule: 7 days per week Hours: 4 hours per day Total Hours: 28 hours per week Start Date: Immediate Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services – Atlanta is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home support for a client with advanced dementia in the Sandy Springs area. The client may exhibit challenging behaviors, including agitation and resistance to care. This position requires a calm, confident professional who is skilled in dementia care, redirection, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities: Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) Use de-escalation, reassurance, and redirection techniques during periods of agitation Support personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and mobility Provide medication reminders as directed Maintain client safety and dignity at all times Follow structured routines to reduce confusion and agitation Observe, document, and report behavioral or condition changes to the office Requirements: Active Georgia CNA certification Proven experience working with clients with dementia Ability to manage challenging behaviors safely and professionally Clear TB test results Current First Aid and CPR certification Ability to pass a background check Reliable transportation Strong communication skills, patience, and emotional resilience Benefits: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Weekly pay Paid training and ongoing support Consistent daily schedule Supportive clinical and care coordination team About the Company: Always Best Care Senior Services – Atlanta provides compassionate, high-quality in-home care that allows seniors to remain safe and comfortable in their homes.
