    Certified Surgical Technician CST Fulltime Night Shift

     

    _Fast-paced, high volume Surgery department is looking for top skilled CST's. Is that you?_

     

    Work location: Texas Health Forth Worth Harris, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Ft Worth, TX 76104

     

    Work hours: Full Time Night Shift 36 hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirements

    Surgery Department highlights:

    + Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

    + Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 75 surgeries/day

    + Level I Trauma Candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures capable of providing excellent clinical experience to the new hire.

    + Robotics, Complex spine and ortho trauma, and intricate plastic surgery cases are the highlight of surgical offerings at THFW

    Here's What You Need

    + H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice Surgical Technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 or Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or Military Training Surgical Technology program.

    + 1 Year current operating room experience

    + At least 1 year of current Certified Surgical Tech experience strongly preferred.

    + CST - Certified Surgical Technologist upon hire or LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire or Military Training Program in surgical technology

    + BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support

    + Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal, and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
