    Now Hiring: Part Time Program Aide

     

    Start Date: ASAP – Within 2 weeks of offer

     

    Duration: 13-week contract to start, with strong potential for extension

     

    Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:00 AM–3:00 PM (No weekends)

     

    Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)

    About the Role

    Amergis Staffing is seeking a compassionate, engaging Program Aide to support an adult day health program. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with direct care experience who enjoys creating meaningful experiences for older adults in a supportive community environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Engage & Support Participants

     

    + Assist with daily activities, guiding participants through programs and encouraging involvement in group and one-on-one settings.

    + Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.

     

    Plan & Facilitate Activities

     

    + Collaborate with staff to organize person-centered activities such as crafts, music, life skills workshops, and community outings.

    + Set up materials and support activity coordination.

     

    Documentation & Communication

     

    + Maintain activity calendars, track attendance, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team.

     

    Provide Daily Living Assistance

     

    + Offer light ADL support (e.g., bathroom assistance).

    + Help serve lunch and support daily routines.

    Qualifications

    Experience

    + Direct care experience required

    + Experience working with elderly populations

    + Background in group homes or day habilitation preferred

    + Activity planning or facilitation experience a plus

     

    Skills

     

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to work collaboratively within a team
