Position Overview:
The Human Resources Specialist serves as a strategic partner to the HR Team, Managers and Employees across campus and community-based programs, delivering comprehensive human resources support aligned with organizational goals. The role provides guidance and execution across talent acquisition, onboarding, and training ensure effective and consistent HR practices. Working closely with the HR Business Partners, Director of Human Resources and VP of Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in advancing recruitment strategies. The position is responsible for managing critical recruitment and onboarding processes and maintaining data integrity across HR systems.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma required, along with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a related field. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as strong typing, telephone, and record-management skills. Ability to quickly learn new systems and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information accurately and professionally.
