    Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Assistant 2Location: Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Bath, NYSchedule: Full-Time, Days/Weekends

     

    Overview:Join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant 2! This role supports the laboratory by performing essential non-technical tasks such as phlebotomy, patient registration, specimen processing, and courier duties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Collect blood samples and ensure accurate labeling

    + Register patients and verify orders in the system

    + Process and prepare specimens for testing or shipment

    + Maintain supply inventory and assist with courier deliveries

    + Provide coverage at patient service centers as needed

    + Perform general office tasks and support customer service

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    + Valid driver’s license

    + One year of lab experience or phlebotomy certification

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
