This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon in developing its next generation SOC’s for the machine learning enabled consumer products. Key job responsibilities

What will you do?

- Contribute to a novel and comprehensive training platform custom-tailored for preparing models for edge applications

- Collaborate closely with compiler engineers, model developers, hardware architects and product teams to build the best ML centric hardware and software solutions for our devices

- Contribute to reference Model implementations, compression recipes, datasets, and evaluation scripts that enable self-service for other teams

- Train and compress custom Gen AI models that match or exceed SOTA benchmarks while meeting edge deployment constraints (memory, latency, power)

- Build tools for modeling and performance evaluation to enable power, performance, cost options and trade offs

- Publish in open source and present on Amazon's behalf at key ML conferences - e.g. NeurIPS, ICLR, MLSys

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience

- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience

- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.

- Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
