Summary:Are you passionate about building innovative cloud solutions? As a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Senior Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, enhancing, and maintaining complex applications hosted on GCP. You’ll also develop new programs that empower users and drive business success.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to reliability, automation, enablement, and releasing when ready—all while fostering a culture of support, continuous improvement, and learning. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge applications using Java, Azure Pipelines/Terraform, Cloud Run, and OpenShift (OCP).
• Drive releases, manage our Stack Overflow knowledge hub, and lead Disaster Recovery drills to keep systems resilient.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to design solutions, implement changes, and deliver exceptional technical support.
• Define and implement SRE strategies, best practices, and maintain a living knowledge base for the team.
• Create advanced monitoring and alerting systems that improve uptime, reduce toil, and keep us ahead of issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and deliver solutions that keep systems running smoothly.
• Take ownership of automation projects and guide team members to grow their skills and confidence.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, ensuring critical GCP support and service reliability.
• Use Cloud Logging, Splunk, and Dynatrace to monitor health, build dashboards, and uncover insights that drive improvements.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
+ Minimum of 3 years of SRE experience with GCP, OCP.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience developing automated solutions using IaC - Terraform. Additional experience is a plus: SpringBoot, Python, PowerShell and JSON.

+ Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
+ Practical experience in Agile delivery, Azure DevOps Services, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/security tools.
+ Familiarity with security tool integration (e.g., Prisma, Snyk) and implementing cloud security best practices, including IAM, security scans, and custom policies.
+ Broad full-stack engineering knowledge spanning applications, networks, infrastructure, and security.
+ Understanding of containers and serverless computing concepts for modern cloud architectures.
+ Background in application, database, and infrastructure monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
+ Strong leadership qualities with a willingness to mentor and guide others, backed by excellent communication skills.
+ Industry experience or familiarity with financial services is a plus.
