Description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in San Rafael, California. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing complex tax matters and guiding teams to achieve exceptional results. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, estate, and trust tax returns.

• Conduct detailed tax research and provide comprehensive tax and financial planning advice to clients.

• Supervise and mentor entry level and senior staff, ensuring consistent development and adherence to best practices.

• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through effective communication and exceptional customer service.

• Coordinate and manage multiple complex projects while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by staying updated on tax laws and policies.

• Collaborate with partners and team members to develop strategies for client accounts and firm growth.

• Promote a culture of teamwork and integrity within the organization.

• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement solutions to enhance operations.

• Monitor and follow up on completed engagements to ensure client satisfaction and accuracy. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with advanced (CPA or EA) certifications preferred.

• Minimum of seven years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax management.

• Strong supervisory skills with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.

• Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.

• Expertise in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including consolidated and multi-state filings.

• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

• US work authorization required.
