    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Stuart, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations within the accounts payable department. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in QuickBooks Online and construction-related accounting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the accounts payable process, including coding invoices and processing payments.

    • Set up purchase orders and implement an approval process to streamline operations.

    • Perform three-way matching to ensure accuracy in invoice validation.

    • Conduct regular check runs and reconcile accounts efficiently.

    • Maintain precise records and ensure compliance with company policies.

    • Collaborate with team members to enhance and refine AP workflows.

    • Review and resolve any discrepancies in invoices or payments.

    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices while adhering to deadlines.

    • Support the redesign of the accounts payable system for improved functionality. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.

    • Strong experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and check runs.

    • Expertise in construction industry accounting practices.

    • Skilled in performing three-way matching for accurate transaction verification.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    • Advanced proficiency with 10-key entry.

    • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks effectively.
