Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, with a strong background in financial management and leadership within manufacturing or construction industries. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Monitor and analyze financial data, including percentage-of-completion accounting, to support business objectives.

• Provide strategic leadership to the finance team, fostering growth and development.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements within the construction industry.

• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to support decision-making.

• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve issues related to financial operations and reporting.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and systems. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, including leadership roles.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including percentage-of-completion accounting.

• Proven experience in the manufacturing or construction industries.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.

• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical abilities to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and present financial information.

• Familiarity with relevant financial software and tools.
