    Description

    A growing construction company in Fallbrook is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage financial records in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. This role offers variety and responsibility, supporting job costing, vendor payments, and payroll coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and understands the financial flow of construction operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage AP and AR for multiple active projects

    + Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts

    + Track job costs and project expenses

    + Assist with payroll coordination and reporting

    + Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

    + Prepare reports for ownership and project managers

    + Support year-end tax and audit preparation

    Requirements

    + 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience

    + Experience in construction or project-based accounting preferred

    + Strong understanding of job costing and AP processes

    + Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar systems

    + High level of accuracy, organization, and reliability

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
