    Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

     

    Join a dynamic team within the clinic side of sleep medicine that also serves other areas of neurology. This role involves working closely with patients who have conditions such as epilepsy, Parkinson's, stroke, and more.

    Responsibilities

    + Room patients and take vital signs.

    + Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.

    + Review patient medications and conduct lab draws if capable.

    + Handle all back-office tasks efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Epic software.

    + Strong case management skills.

    + Experience with prior authorization processes.

    + Must be Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant.

    + Current BLS certification is required.

    + At least 2 years of experience in a medical assistant role.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in neurology is advantageous but not required.

    Work Environment

    The work schedule is either Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a reputable organization. The position operates within a clinical environment specializing in sleep medicine and general neurology.

    This is a Contract position based out of Brentwood, MO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
