    Job Title: Phlebotomist II

    Job Description

    The primary role of a Phlebotomist II is to assist in performing various assigned duties, troubleshooting, training, and making workflow recommendations. This position is based in Dacula, GA, and involves working in a medium-sized office, handling 30+ patients a day, ranging from pediatric to geriatric.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform blood draws and specimen collection.

    + Label, match requisitions, and process specimens (centrifuge, split, freeze).

    + Explain venipuncture procedures to patients.

    + Use straight and butterfly needles.

    + Ensure accurate labeling and documentation.

    + Package and store specimens per guidelines.

    + Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual training.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2+ years of recent phlebotomy experience.

    + Experience with blood draws from geriatric to pediatric patients.

    + Proficiency in straight needle venipuncture.

    Work Environment

    This role is based at a medium-sized office in Dacula, GA, handling 30+ patients daily, including pediatric and geriatric cases. The working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts. Training will be provided at a different location. The work environment is within a men's treatment center, and preference is for a male phlebotomist

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dacula, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
