    Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong technical and analytical capabilities to support the development of mechatronics systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in both prototype and production-level designs and a proven ability to deliver results efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop 3D mechanical models and 2D drawings for mechatronics systems using SolidWorks.

    + Perform mechanical tolerance stack-up analysis and related engineering calculations.

    + Create mechanical assemblies for electronics and automation systems.

    + Support rapid prototyping and production tooling processes.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

    + Manage projects using Agile PLM tools and methodologies.

    + Communicate technical concepts clearly through documentation and presentations.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

    + Experience with Agile PLM systems.

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, electronics integration, and automation design.

    + Expertise in mechanical tolerance analysis.

    + Hands-on experience with rapid prototype tooling and production tooling.

    + Proven project management skills.

    + Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Thermal simulation analysis.

    + Structural load analysis.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Westborough, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
