    Job Description (General Summary)

     

    Intralox, LLC is currently seeking a Project Manager for the Development Engineering Team in the Equipment platform. This individual will be primarily responsible for managing projects through Intralox’s product development process- from ideation to fielded solutions. This Project Manager will work in our Baltimore , Maryland office to support our new product development team in the creation of innovative, high-value solutions for challenging real-world problems.

     

    This Project Manager will be working with driven and talented people across multiple departments . For a person to be successful in this role, they need to be highly motivated to learn new things, enjoy navigating complexity and demonstrate a wide degree of creativity.

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements

    Responsibilities :

    + Manages pr oduct d evelopment p rojects in accordance with Intralox development processes .

    + Develops, monitors , and controls a detailed project plan that includes a scope of work and schedule.

    + Plans, directs, and manages project related tasks.

    + Work with internal stakeholders, commercial team and customers to determine requirements of projects.

    + Serve as a primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and communicate information at the right time, to the right audience .

    + Conduct r isk a ssessment on projects and mitigate risks for work that is activated.

    + Manage s project team capacity , identifies resource constraints and facilitates prioritization and trade off dec isions with the appropriate stakeholders .

    + Apply expert level project management concepts, practices, and procedures to drive project work to completion .

    Skills needed to be successful :

    + Ability to navigate within complex topics

    + Ability to problem solve , remove obstacles , and resolve project issues that may slow project progress .

    + Ability to manage projects with large development scope including many interdependencies

    + Ability to turn very loose front-end problem or opportunity statements into actionable requirements

    + Outstanding communication skills:

    + Communicates concisely and clearly

    + E nsures alignment on project goals and checks for understanding

    + C larifies expectations, builds trust, engages stakeholders

    + A bility to tailor communication and task management depending on development stage and team members involved

    + Holds well planned and productive meetings

    + Creates clear and concise documentation

    + Simplifies complex information where possible

    + Understands how and when to take risks, make assumptions, and create plans to validate those assumptions.

    + Technically minded with the ability to understand and communicate different technical concepts related to both mechanical and electrical design.

    + Adaptable-able to pivot quickly when new information is learned

    + Self-driven and motivated

    + Inquisitive: Great at asking questions to get to truth

    Requirements

    + B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university

    + 5+ years Project Management experience

    + Understanding of Project Management processes and best practices

    + Experience working in cross functional teams

    + Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel and AutoCAD

    + Effective communication (verbal and written)

    + Strong i nterpersonal skills with engineering groups, operations groups, customers, suppliers, and contractors

    + Travel Required (~10%)

    Desired Qualifications

    + PMP or formal Project Management training

    + Product Development Project experience

    + Experience working in manufacturing organizations

    + Understanding of Agile methodologies

    + Working knowledge of Smartsheet

    The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills. Therefore, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply regardless of their salary expectations.

     

    The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans

     

    Salary Range $60,700 to $164,900.
