Lab Technician – Entry Level

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to join our team. In this entry-level role, you’ll perform analytical and organoleptic testing of fragrances and raw materials, ensuring quality and consistency across production. What You’ll Do

+ Conduct sample testing using organoleptic, physical, and chemical analysis methods.

+ Perform routine laboratory maintenance and cleaning.

+ Monitor and replenish lab consumables to maintain operational efficiency.

+ Comply with all safety protocols and report potential issues promptly.

+ Follow the chemical hygiene plan and actively participate in safety meetings and training.

+ Perform performance checks and calibrations on lab instrumentation.

What We’re Looking For

+ Education: Currently pursuing or holding an A.S. or B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.

+ Skills & Knowledge:

+ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

+ Quality control and assurance

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Preferred:

+ Prior laboratory experience in college or industry

+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards

+ Experience with batch mixing and sample handling

+ Familiarity with Oracle systems

Work Environment & Schedule

+ Industrial lab setting with exposure to mild odors; safety gear (eye protection, steel-toed shoes, lab coat) required.

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts (every six weeks). When a Saturday shift is worked (6:00 AM–12:00 PM), the following Monday is a day off.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
