    Asbestos Investigator

We are seeking a licensed Asbestos Investigator to support a variety of environmental and asbestos-related projects across NYC. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful assignments that shape safer communities.

     

    As an Asbestos Investigator, you’ll conduct site investigations, perform inspections, collect field data, and prepare detailed reports. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all work meets regulatory and contractual standards while collaborating with experienced environmental professionals.

    What You’ll Do

    + Conduct asbestos inspections and field investigations at project sites throughout the five boroughs.

    + Assist with environmental fieldwork tasks across ongoing projects.

    + Provide both field and office support for asbestos and environmental assignments.

    + Manage and track tasks to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.

    + Licenses & Certifications:

    + NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator License (required)

    + 40-hour HAZWOPER certification

    + Experience: 4+ years of field investigation and inspection experience.

    + Skills:

    + Proficiency in MS Office Suite

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Preferred: OSHA 10 certification and experience interacting with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

    This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.

     

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
