About the Role
Join a world‑renowned creative engineering organization responsible for imagining, designing, and delivering some of the most immersive themed destinations and attractions on the planet. This studio blends storytelling, architecture, engineering, and advanced digital technology to build experiences visited by millions around the globe.
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead digital design workflows, elevate our model‑based processes, and support multidisciplinary project teams across complex AEC environments.
What You’ll Do
+ Drive adoption of BIM technology, standards, and digital workflows across project teams.
+ Develop, implement, and enforce BIM/CAD standards, templates, and model‑health practices for Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and associated AEC tools.
+ Serve as the primary BIM subject‑matter expert for project‑specific needs, resolving technical issues and guiding model‑based decision‑making.
+ Support project teams in BIM setup, 3D content creation, federated modeling, and clash coordination workflows.
+ Manage model lifecycle processes, including auditing, metadata integration, documentation, and turnover packages.
+ Maintain and evolve digital libraries, Revit families, shared parameters, and content associated with building and attraction assets.
+ Coordinate closely with architecture, engineering, show, ride, facilities, and creative teams to ensure alignment in model development and digital delivery.
+ Interface with technology teams on cloud collaboration, data access, and enterprise BIM platforms (e.g., ACC/BIM 360).
+ Mentor junior BIM & VDC staff and provide training to elevate digital workflows across the studio.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through process improvements, automation, or new AEC technologies.
+ Evaluate, test, and recommend new BIM software or tools to support production and sustainment work.
+ Contribute lessons learned and best practices to support global projects and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
+ 10+ years of experience in BIM management or digital design coordination within AEC environments.
+ Expert‑level proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC.
+ Demonstrated success supporting complex, multi-disciplinary projects with model‑based workflows.
+ Strong understanding of BIM standards, model health, clash detection, and content development.
+ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
+ Experience collaborating across architecture, engineering, and fabrication disciplines.
Preferred:
+ Experience in themed entertainment, large‑scale attractions, experiential environments, or other high‑complexity AEC sectors.
+ Familiarity with Rhino, Maya, SketchUp, or other 3D pipelines used in immersive design environments.
+ Prior experience supporting geographically distributed teams or global project collaboration.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Glendale, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
